Hispanic Heritage Month: Home

Welcome!

The SERC Library, in its goal of supporting diversity and equity in education, celebrates National Hispanic Heritage Month. From September 15 through October 15, the library will add resources and collections that honors the cultures, heritages, histories, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino Americans.

It is the purpose of this page to support the educators in our communities in adding lessons, activities, and general visibility to the influential people and vibrant cultures that are a part of this community.  For each subject tab above, you will find links to activities, biographies, and resources that can be used in the classroom to commemorate this month-long appreciation for the generations of Hispanic and Latino Americans who have enriched our country.
