Resources in Connecticut for Students Who Are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

The resources listed below provide information and referral or direct services to deaf and hard of hearing children and youth in Connecticut. These organizations are available to answer questions about deafness and related information, or refer individuals and their families to the most appropriate programs and services in their area. This is not a comprehensive list, but rather a starting point to help identify the different types of services available statewide. The State Office of Special Education provides information about local elementary and secondary programs for deaf and hard of hearing students. Clicking on any of these links will bring you to the individual organization's website.
